* Accuracy on the FLEURS speech benchmark, where 100% means no word errors. It is the inverse of word error rate (WER).

Writing system

Korean is written in Hangul, a featural alphabet whose letters are grouped into square syllable blocks. Word spacing exists but is irregular, so character-level accuracy is often used.

Dialects

Standard Korean is based on Seoul speech; regional dialects such as Gyeongsang and Jeolla differ in intonation and some vocabulary.

bio-101-lecture.mp31:12:04

00:00Alright everyone, let's pick up where we left off last week on cellular respiration.

00:11The mitochondrion is the site of cellular respiration, where most of the cell’s ATP is produced.

00:24Remember, ATP is the energy currency - basically every process in the cell pays for it.

00:37The inner membrane folds inward into structures we call cristae.

00:46Those folds dramatically increase the surface area available for the reactions.

00:58More surface area means more electron transport chains, and that means more ATP.

01:12There are three stages: glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation.

01:25Be able to tell glycolysis and the Krebs cycle apart - that is a common exam trap.

01:38We go deeper into the electron transport chain Thursday, so read chapter nine first.

Benefits

Why add Korean subtitles?

Adding Korean subtitles makes your video work harder. Captions let people watch sound-off, follow along in Korean, and find any moment, and you get a timed SRT or VTT back in seconds instead of typing every line.

  • Save hours of manual work

Turn Korean video into timed subtitles in seconds instead of typing and syncing every line by hand

  • Reach a wider audience

Captioned Korean video plays sound-off on social and reaches viewers who skip videos without subtitles

  • Improve accessibility

Give Deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers readable Korean captions and meet accessibility standards

  • Make it searchable

Find any quote or moment in your Korean video, and let search engines read what is said

  • Repurpose your content

  • Ready-to-use captions

Export timed SRT or VTT subtitles that drop straight into any video editor or player
