Okay, so our third video response question is for the fire lightning and they ask, "How to bypass error? Sign in to confirm you're not a bot. Use cookies from the browser or cookies for the authentication." So this error can appear in different ways, but there's uh one way to to solve it sometimes. So we'll do that since that seemed to work. So they were trying to get this video right here. You see, if I uh take it and I try and try to just download it to my downloads folder, yt- DLP, throw it in and we'll see what happens.
It says unable to download video data. HTTP43 forbidden. It's different from uh different from their error, right? But the solution that I found for it uh uh seems to be the same. So um what we need to get past this especially when it's saying to sign in with cookies is you need to get um your session data cookies basically put it in a file and use that with the command and that's basically like being logged into your YouTube. Um so yeah it just runs a command like you're logged into YouTube basically. So it's like authent authenticating you into YouTube. So one way that we can get that is we can look for the cookie editor. If we just ex uh look for it extension there is this one cookie editor.com which makes an open-source uh extension for all the browsers. I'll include this link but I'm currently using Edge. So I go add it to Edge and get the extension. add the extension and go ahead and just pin it so that it stays there. So now I have to come back to YouTube. It matters what what tab you're on, right? And then we go to the extension and we want to export the cookies while we're on the YouTube tab and signed into it. We export it into a Netscape format and that just copies it to the clipboard like copy and paste, right? So now we want to make a new file and we'll call it cookies.ext. Okay. And inside of here, we're just going to want to paste that.
And you're not going to want to share anything any of these cookies, right? Cuz they share the the keys basically for your login session for YouTube. And if you share it's like someone could log into your account and steal your So you don't want that. So we save that and then we can run a different command which is in front of the URL we do d-cookies and we do the name of the file which is cookies.ext text and this is like logging into YouTube into our own YouTube and then you know running it. Then we run that and now that downloads this is a pretty big file so but um yeah that's uh pretty much it. So uh yeah I will see you in the next video.
